I currently live in Los Angeles, and I am from Reno, Nevada.
What do you do?
I am a cellist, composer, and visual artist.
One sustainable change everyone should make:
Take what you are currently passionate about, study how it positively and negatively impacts our planet, and talk about it with people. Most people don't know that consuming music via streaming platforms requires a lot of energy from coal consumption.
Who are your inspirations?
My mom and Yo-Yo Ma.
Proudest accomplishment?
I was lucky enough to premiere my original eco-art composition "Ocean Sky" for an audience of 5,000 people at L'Hemisfèric in Valencia, Spain.
Fun fact about yourself:
Super proud of my Mapuche indigenous ancestry.
What is your personal sustainability goal over the next year? My goal this year was to offset my carbon footprint annually. I have gratefully achieved that via planting 1600 trees via my debut album/fundraiser called Notes of Nature.
