Proudest accomplishment:
My proudest accomplishment is probably starting my own non-profit organization last year. It’s called Hope On The Row and we serve Nashville’s unhoused community every week.
Fun fact about yourself:
A fun fact about me is that I was raised vegetarian from birth!
I think everybody should consciously either cut down on their meat and dairy consumption or eliminate it all together if possible. Another thing would be stopping using plastic bags all together at grocery stores and always bringing your own reusable bags!
Who are your inspirations?
I’m super inspired by Greta Thunberg and the way she’s made so much change at such a young age. It really shows that any of us can make a difference if we truly want to.
What is your personal sustainability goal over the next year?
My personal sustainability goals are to buy my produce in season and local if possible and to transition all my clothing shopping to either eco friendly brands or second hand/thrift stores.
